What Is Convection Heating

Convection heating is an attractive alternative to conventional radiator heating :
It provides silent warm air heating throughout an area or room and is designed to form an integral part of the total design concept, thus creating an elegant and unobtrusive heating system for use in both commercial & domestic situations.

How does it work?

The system comprises a steel casing which houses aluminium finned copper tube heating elements. As hot water (supplied by a standard boiler system) passes through the copper heating elements, air entering the casing through the grill is warmed by the hot water within the elements, rises up through natural convection and discharges into the room through the outlet grill. Consequently, there are no restrictions to placement of furniture or any ‘cold spots’ in a room.
