We believe that service, support and quality are the most important considerations when specifying a product.
Consequently, we have been involved in some of the largest and most prestigious convection heating
installations throughout the country.
From our many years of experience, we are extremely aware of the fact that the product is very much in the
hands of the installers and consequently, we have developed a variety of techniques to ensure that the
finished installation meets the highest professional standards.
Our involvement in any project will include the following: upon receiving
an initial enquiry from a client, we will forward our tender. Tenders
submitted by Heatfit include supply, installation labour and all
consumables, fittings & fixings required. Heatfit will then discuss
further with our client to make any modifications or alterations as
necessary, until such time as the system to be supplied is specified to
the clients exact requirements.
Should there be any alterations to our
original tender quantities, costs will generally be calculated on a pro
rata basis. We continue to offer technical support, in conjunction with
the manufacturer, both before and after specification.
Once the client requirements are fulfilled, a Purchase Order is required, upon receipt of which Heatfit liaise
with the manufacturer & our client regarding the manufacture & delivery of the heating components to
the site.
We also issue the following documentation to our client: Health & Safety Guide (including COSHH
Risk Assessment & Site Risk Assessment), Detailed Method Statement, CIS6 card, Certificate of Employers'
Liability Insurance, Certificate of Registration for VAT, PAT Certificates.
Upon commencement of installation works, Heatfit will off load & distrbute
the delivered components to the storage areas and then to the relevant
work areas. We will ensure that all installations are based on the manufacturers
modulated drawings and fitted according to manufacturers specifications.
Installation
is generally carried out in two stages: First Fix and Second Fix, in conjunction
with the site programme of works. Pressure testing of heating pipe work
installed by Heatfit will be our responsibility and will be staged to
each area as applicable.
Pressure testing will conform to the necessary
specifications, as directed in Document Y51 Spec, 2020 and will be based
on operating pressures as advised by our client.
Upon completion of pressure
testing, Heatfit will issue Hydraulic Pressure Test certificates. Naturally,
Heafit personnel conform to all COSHH and Health & Safety Regulations.
