Electric Trench Heating Is an alternative option if a hot water system is not available. Available in standard modular assemblies which are 1200 mm long x 200 mm wide x 125 mm deep with an output of 550 watts per module.
There are 20 mm cable entry holes at each end to allow continuous feed of power supply to run through the air intake chamber. Provision of earth continuity link betweens casings is also allowed for. Angles & corners are also available.
The heating element is fitted within the casing with a terminal box at one end - this is fitted with a cable gland entry for site wiring by others. There will be provisions for the units to be left or right handed to assist site wiring arrangements.
There are safety shields fitted to prevent liquids which may be split into the casing coming into direct contact with the wiring terminals.
There is also a wire safety mesh fitted over the entire heating chamber to prevent the ingress of items which may be dropped through the grills. The mesh is 96% free area which allows maximum air flow through the unit.
